Objectives

The students will research career interests through college and university websites.
Students will create a PPT document to present their findings to the audience.

Steps

The students will brainstorm what job or career they would like to pursue in the future.
The teacher will review critical research and proper source citing.
The students will research at least 3 colleges using the official school website only.
The students will search for a variety of information (see notecards)
The teacher will review the basic steps to creating a PowerPoint document.
The students will design a PowerPoint document encompassing all the learned info.
The students will site their sources properly (see links for citation wizard)
The students will save and upload photos of the colleges.
The students will present their findings and use PPT as a visual aid.
The students will reflect on their learning and self assess.
The students will be assessed using a rubric.
